O‘ahu Writers Retreat April 21-27, 2025
E komo mai! Please join us for our spring retreat. You join one morning workshop every day (fiction, nonfiction, or memoir) and enjoy many other sessions in the afternoon as well as local culture in the evening.

(If you want to dip a toe in, consider coming to our two-day retreat in November, after Thanksgiving in 2025. All day Saturday and a half day Sunday.)
Enrollment requires registration (below) and buying a ticket. After completing this registration form, click the Submit Button at bottom to go to Ticket Purchasing and make your payment. You are not enrolled until you have purchased a ticket. Your ticket can include lodging. Each party in a shared room needs a separate ticket.
Contribution for scholarships: We are committed to keeping the retreat affordable for working writers, even when inflation drives up costs. In addition, we provide scholarships to emerging writers in Hawai‘i. We cannot do either without financial support from the larger community. If you’d like to donate, please add any amount to your payment or contact us directly. We’ll apply all donations towards scholarships. (Select contribution amount at the bottom of the form below.)

Regarding transportation and lodging (for April): The fees do not include airfare to Hawai‘i. The fees for the retreat include food, workshops, and activities. Some fee plans include rooming in the Camp lodge. Otherwise, lodging is available at separate cost in nearby areas. We will help to coordinate one shuttle van from the airport on Monday morning, but we cannot guarantee transport out to MokulÄ“‘ia. You may want to rent a car, but that should not be necessary.
